Using a random slide film image, I took it out of the frame and used Stanley blades and ink to manipulate the images. using the stanley blade I scratched parts of the image away, so when it was placed in front of light, it was white. painting the ink over the top created a coloured filter on the image, where I was able to colour a black and white image. One of my experiments included an image of a dark cave, where I scratched out the outline of a bat in the depths of the shadows.
The left image was created using scraps I found from ones other people had already altered. Therefor it was more of a disjointed collage.
My favourite one would be the coloured one on the right, as the colouring changed the image greatly from it being plain black and white.
